I think my second round essay is done.
ps: and to the "but Indians has the better season record"
You have to remember that the Yankees were using basicly their Triple A rotation on their first month. Their injuries has gotten to the point when they had to use their backup backup. But that was 5 months ago, you have to take note that the Yankees have the best record on the 2nd half of the season, which is more up to date, and does shows that with a decent rotation, their monster lineup can win about any ball game.

This was my 2nd round essay:
If this was a normal 5 game series in the playoff, I would go with Colorado. But since its not, and its only a 1 game elimination, my money would go to the Padres. You want to know why? 2 word: Jake Peavy. I believe 40% of the game outcome is from the pitcher itself, and when you have Peavy on the mound, this game is on Padres favor. The Padres tried to go all or nothing on yesterday, hoping to win to use their big Ace on game 1 of the series, but that plan fail when the worst scenario happen, and now they are force to use their almost guarantee weapon on the Rockies. It doesn't matter what kind of offense the Rockies has, when you send the league best in victories (19), ERA (2.36) and strikeouts (234) then the best they can do for is hope that they get a scoreless 7 inning from Josh Fogg, which I don't think they are going to get from a below average 4.78 ERA pitcher, with a 10-9 record.
