CY YOUNG time! I think we can all agree on #1...lol Johan Santana (MIN) John Lackey (LAA) C.C. Sabathia (CLE) Danny Haren (OAK) Chien-Ming Wang (NYY) Honorable Mention- Rich Harden (OAK, if he stays healthy, he'll be right there.)
- Scott Kazmir (TB, it'll hurt that he's in TB, but he's a stud)
- Josh Beckett (BOS, Gut feeling tells me he has a good season)
OOOOOOOK. How bout you?

I'm going with Sabathia. He had impressive numbers last year despite being in the toughest division and on a mediocre team.

I think this will be Harden's breakout year(in breakout I mean cy-young caliber). He's been plagued by injuries a lot, and if he can come out for a full season, there is no doubt in my mind he can be the best starting pitcher in the American League.

1. Johan Santana, MIN 2. C.C. Sabathia, CLE 3. Roy Halladay, TOR 4. Erik Bedard, BAL 5. Scott Kazmir, TB 6. Rich Harden, OAK 7. Jered Weaver, ANA 8. Felix Hernandez, SEA 9. John Lackey, ANA 10. Jeremy Bonderman, DET
I didn't include Wang on this list. For some reason I see him taking a step back this year. Ground ball pitchers tend to have up-and-down ERA's.
I guess Felix Hernandez is my dark horse pick to win the Cy Young. Most non-Mariner fans haven't heard of him, but he seems like a major stud to me. He is only 22 years old, and has posted very good peripherals in his first 2 major league seasons.

How the heck do you rank Kazmir over Sabathia?

It's really not that big of a deal. Obviously I think CC is a better pick because Kaz is with the D-Rays, and while it shouldn't hurt him, it will.
