Albert shouldn't have said what he said to Glavine. He is lucky enough to be in a city where the media isn't as ridiculous as it is in NY. He was coming out of a frustrating playoff game and had a hundred reporters all over him. He handled that poorly.

I don't want to turn this in to a "My team is better than yours" thread. I was just pointing out why I don't like the Mets.

You had brought up Pujols' comments about Glavine. I used it as an example that Wright's comments weren't as extreme or stupid as ones Myers and Pujols made. All he did was say they have to prove they are the team to beat on the field.

I'm not denying that what they both said was stupid.

I'm just pointing out the fact that I don't really like how David Wright handles things with the media and I think he (along with most of the Mets) is too cocky.

It's not like I'm bringing this up to start an argument, bash your team, or p i s s anyone off. I'm just saying why I don't like the Mets, because that's what the thread is for.
