hmmm...well my team is actually pretty good with hitting. Their pitching is frightening. I am pretty much always cringing when the opposing team comes up to bat....especially when they're playing Boston like tonight.
On a slightly OT note, Seaver, I was at Seaver's 300th win. It was my first baseball game at Yankee Stadium. His White Sox beat my Yanks. I think I was in first grade at the time. It was pretty cool to see, even if it meant the Yankees lost.

At least your its not to the point that your bullpen is so bad that your confident that they will blow it each time.

True, although with all the injuries, the starting rotation can be very scary at times. Is it bad that the bullpen is better than many of the starters?

Actually, two of the starters this weekend are. Karstens and Wright are both new additions to the team this year. Wright's first game was last week. Karstens has been brought up before, but is still essentially a rookie. Rasner is another newbie. Right now the rotation is made up of Pettitte, Rasner, Karstens, Wright, and Igawa. Wang, Moose, and Pavano are all injured.

Yes, the pitching is scary now, but in about 5-6 years, the pitching staff is going to be scary good. BaseballAmerica has them as the team with the most pitching depth in the minor leagues. I could name so many guys right now with sky high potential it is not even funny.

You get use to it eventually.

You get use to it eventually. I've been used to it for years. I actually thought the bullpen would be decent this year. Of course, FOUR bullpen candidates are injured already.

After the Red Sox series, it's the opponents.

And Dice-K get the Win...
With runners on 2nd and 3rd with no out, you know if Mikey doesn't get the big hit, then the batter behind him will, if not then its the batter behind him, and if not then BOS pull a "Marlin".

I have greater trouble watching my team bat because I don't know what to expect.
