Well speaking of DL, Yankees opening day pitcher Carl Pavano and Mussina just went to the DL today. They are calling up an reliever from Triple A to take their spot. This should be intresting. Carl Pavano on the DL?? Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Wait the Brian Moehler from the Florida Marlins last year? It was a tradition down here for South Florida to pray for him before he makes the first pitch. You know... funny you should say that. All I hear ALL during spring training is, "It's just spring training. The stats don't mean anything." But Moehler got a job IN SPITE of his history of mediocrity... and Hunter Pence was sent to AAA, even though he led all of Major League Baseball in many of the Spring Training batting stats. And the first game they bring him in to pitch, he gives up 4 hits and 2 runs in one inning of "work". Go figure. Yeah he always have a hard time going through the 1st 2 innings of the game, but if he mange to survive past that without getting the hook, his next 5 innings are usually solid.

update on BJ Ryan: out for 4-6 weeks Figures. I have got him on a fantasy team with only one other reliever for some reason(not sure how I accomplished that , must of napped through a pick). With the nature of the injury, I wonder if he will be back.
