Season hasnt started yet and so much negativity. As for me, a lifelong fan, Im optomistic and gonna root for them all the way.

And so you should. Pitching is a lot more important than hitting, and with Lincecum, Cain and Zito--the Giants have a pretty solid top 3 starters.

Also, the Giants are in a weak division, so anything could really happen. It's not like they're in the AL East with the Yankees and Red Sox, or the AL Central with the Tigers and Indians. Or even the NL East with the Mets and Phillies. They're in the AL West which is probably only worse than the NL "comedy" Central. But anyways, they have a chance to make the playoffs considering they're in a weak division--and once, they make the playoffs, anything could happen.

They also have more experience than any other team...perhaps too much experience (because of age), but for this season at least, it's probably better than having a bunch of youngsters.
