The NL has a pretty awful selection of OF's. I didn't vote for him but I can see why people would. I voted for Beltran, Bay and Holliday.

I don't like Bonds at all and I think that he is a cheater, but I voted for him because he is having the best offensive season in baseball so far: .485 OBP (!), 1.061 OPS.

I read a bio about Bonds. This guy interviewed a ton of people who said what they had experienced with Bonds as a teammate, a coach, or a MLB worker. Some stories were so awful that I will never vote for Bonds for the all-star game ever again

The guy is a defense liability, he has no range in LF and just a week ago I just saw Bonds drop a simple flyball. He's horrible at defense!

I didn't vote for Bonds, but I did vote for the other 2 Giants that are on the ballot.
Bonds doesn't deserve to be in the All - Star Game.

I don't think he should make it, even tho he is having a decent year....I didn't vote for him because of the steroid issue. Alot of people especially Giants fans are probably sick of hearing about Barry Bonds and steroids, but I am going to be honest and say why I don't like him, and why I won't vote for him. Plus, there are better outfielders to choose from than Barry Bonds.

You people are ridiculous. Sure, he's an a$$hole. He probably did cheat. But you can't hold a guy back from getting what he deserves because of speculation. Bonds is having a good season, and is more deserving than almost any other outfielder in the N.L.

For a power hitter, I don't think he is more deserving than other players. |
