How about like 10am? I don't think anyone will be out at that time? Besides, 1 is right in the middle of the day. I doubt many people are going to end up showing up.

Same. I sleep to at least 10am on Saturdays. Plus any west coast fans have to wake up at 7am.

Ok, well I don't see what the problem with Sunday night is..everyone will be home on a sunday because of school/work the next day. Saturday in the middle of the day has got to be the most inconvenient(sp?) time possible.

No, Saturday night. Most people go out. The date has been up there for awhile so most people probably have set aside 2-3 hrs that day.

Most people sleep late on Saturday-chill in the afternoon-then go out at night.
Therefore, the draft is at 1PM eastern time(where almost everyone is) because most people will wake up at 10-11, do their stuff, then have time to draft. Afterwards, they chill and go out.
For people in the central time zone it really doesn't make much of a difference...the draft is at noon instead of 1. No big deal.
I guess the only problem would be the central time zone...but even there, the draft is at 10am, which is pretty late.
Saturday early afternoon/late morning is thus the best time because most people don't do much then.
Anyways, everyone who signed up for the league saw the draft time and prepared for it naturally so the majority of people should be there at least.
And as always, you could pre-rank your players, have a friend draft for you, or just show up to the draft yourself.
