Suck it... and no I haven't followed much baseball this summer. You know Josh, I always thought you were above those obnoxious Yankee fans who had a superiority complex over every other fan. Then you go and do something like this and prove me wrong. Success!

If the Mutts get the Padres bye in the division series, they should move on to the league championship for sure. That team has a habit of losing in the postseason. I sense something evil is going to happen this year WS but you never know. its hard 2 say that about a team with 2 of the best pitchers in the league in a 5 game series...

I sense something evil is going to happen this year WS but you never know. All bets are off in the post-season. Peavy hasn't exactly dominated the Mets and Chris Young gets shelled against them. Maddux only goes 6 innings (even if he throws only 60 pitches).

Well, you never give the yankees credit for anything. You seem to hate the yankees more than the braves of phillies. You make biased comments more towards showing negativity to the yankees instead of making positive biased comments towards the mets.

So because I don't think the Yankees will make the playoffs and the Mets will get to the World Series, I am biased?

So because I don't think the Yankees will make the playoffs and the Mets will get to the World Series, I am biased? For one, you think Joba will get rocked once a scouting report is written. The only problem, scouting reports have been written. You think that A-Rod is still not clutch, yet this year he has come through in key situations a lot more than last year. You don't think Cano will amount to anything because at 24 he's a freeswinger.

First of all, Joba will get rocked. He's not going to go his whole career without giving up a run. As soon as he does, all the Yankee fans won't see him as the savior. Second, clutch is a myth. There is no evidence that a player performs better in pressure situations. Guys like Jeter and Ortiz more often get out in "clutch" situations than get hits. We only think they are clutch because we remember the hits and not the outs. Third, I never said that about Cano. He is overrated though. I remember hearing comparisons of him to Rod Carew which is insane.

But remember, Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Jason Isringhausen, and Paul Wilson also had potential for great careers. 2) What is the proof?

Seaver, where did I ever say that I thought you were biased because I you didn't think the yankkes would win the WS. You're just always very negative towards the yankkes, whether it's a good prospect, stadium, or them beating Baltimore.

The league will catch up to Joba. He got lucky last night. Yankee Stadium really is nothing special anymore. Everything that made it great has been taken out. When did they beat Baltimore?
