Pelfrey probably should have kept his mouth shut.

Poor Cody Ross. When will he learn he's Cody Ross. Pelfrey did do him a favor hitting him with 2 strikes since the odds are against Ross of getting on base.. Ross should just be a man and take 1st. Only a child would react the way he did. Also, Pelfrey is good. Rays/Fish Troll. It's the Marlins who are/were lucky. Pelfrey probably should have kept his mouth shut. The same can be said for Cody Ross. Be a man and just take your base. The only case where going after the pitcher is warranted is it it's at your head.

It was the 2nd time Ross got hit by Pelfrey. He has the rights to be angry. Pelfrey could had just ended their, but nope he had to make those comment to the media after the game, when the stats goes against him. You don't bash a team who have own you w/o looking like an idiot.

Even if Ross is 3-9, there's 6 ABs he got out. Why would you hit a guy with 2 strikes with 2 outs? Of course Pelfrey did Ross a favor by giving him a base. Ross could have ended it there and just shrug it off but he chose to act like a child. Maybe someday he'll wake up and realize he's Cody Ross and not Albert Pujols.

Dude, quit being a dumbass. Did they "luck out" that they didn't have to face CC Sabathia? Did they "luck out" that Charlie Manuel was too effing stupid to have Hamels face the Mets more than once this season? Did they luck out in beating Hamels the first time they faced him? You are a petty whiner with all this "lucked out" shit. Newsflash, the Marlins "lucked out" on actually contending this year.

So you are saying the mets havent gotten any lucky breaks?.they did luck out on other things like contributions, Nick Evans? Fernando Tatis? Endy Chavez? Damion Easley? Robinson Cancel? everyone else on that team lived up to par but the mets were fortunate enough to get quality ABs out of those no names. Before you call someone a whiner you might want to look at the facts, during the season and the mets "great win streaks" were against bad teams. Ill say it again, you do have a winning record against teams with winning records, but it doesnt mean much when the teams with winning records beat other bad teams too. Heres another fact, your team sucks and outside of 2000 they have been a joke ever since and a 2nd rate NY team just like the knicks, last year re-defined your team and you tried to buy a title with Santana, you arent even the best in the NL and barely lead a mediocre division. funny thing is i didnt see you or any mets fan before 2005 seriously, i am not joking. And dude, the marlins were picked to have 100 losses, the reason they were contending was because of the return of Josh Johnson nobody expected him to be back this year. And this team is nothing short of mediocre.

Before you call someone a whiner you might want to look at the facts, during the season and the mets "great win streaks" were against bad teams. That's what good teams do. They beat up bad teams. Dude, are you aware how asinine this is? Are good teams just supposed to beat good teams? Are they supposed to lose to bad teams? They won 97 games in 2006 and despite a horrific September were in the playoff hunt from April to August. I've never seen a Marlins fan, period. Sorry, but when you're a Marlins fan, you have no case with fan attendance. They lucked out with Volstad, Sanchez, Nolasco, and Johnson coming back. They lucked out on Cantu playing well. They lucked out on Uggla. See? I can play this game, too. Sorry, but you're a whiner. You're a Met hater grasping at whatever straw you can and you are coming off as a pathetic, bitter, whining dumbass.

Ill agree with you for the most part, but i wasnt talking about attendance, i was talking about message boards and in real life, all i saw were yankees fans and red sox fans around my area, and SW florida is neutral.

You're an idiot. Message boards? Seriously? Yeah, that is not a way to judge a fan base. I never saw a Marlins fan before I joined this board when it was the Marlins board 2 years ago. Not even in 2003.

Miami? Is enough to judge a fan base. Of course after the Mets start winning you'll see bandwagon fans appear in other cities (see: Red Sox Nation post-2004).
