I think he'll go to the Mets honestly. He wanted to be a Met when he first entered Free Agency and he is a lifelong Mets fan. Plus they can afford him. They're not getting him. Omar is huge on team chemistry. Wilpons are cheap. Also, take a look at the left side of the infield.

i cant say i dont want them to get him, b/c obviously, he's 1 of the best players in baseball, but they hav nowhere to put him...but, if for w/e reason he did, i think the mets can change him a little and they'll be alright chemistry wise

He's not good for chemistry. He's a selfish primma dona. The Mets would be wise to spend the money on pitching than on A-Rod. If they do get him, I will boycott the Mets.
BTW, I voted for the Tigers. They seem like a dark horse. They're on good terms with Boras, need a 3B, Detroit is neither big like NY nor small like Texas in terms of media coverage, and they could spend the money.

Rodriguez is ruining the game of baseball. He comes off as a nice guy at first, but to ask for 350 million is just ridiculous. Who needs that kind of money? Him and Boras are just awful for this game.

They have Inge on a long term contract, their going to bank on him returning to his 2006 form.

His 2006 form sucked. They could easily dump him. He's making more than Wright and Reyes and is half the player they are. If people think the Mets will move around Wright or Reyes for A-Rod, surely the Tigers would do something with Inge.

I'd take his 2006 offense + Gold Glove defense....
There's another reason why the won't dump him, his defense kicks ass.

His bat sucks. They'd dump him for A-Rod.

I think they'll be the dark horse. They're not supposed to be an obvious candidate that makes sense. That's the point of being a dark horse.
