To this point everyone was thinking that Glavine was a sure lock for the Braves, but he's now expressing interest in the Nationals:

The same source said, "We can only sign one of them." Washington is looking for a veteran starter, who could teach pitchers such as Shawn Hill, Matt Chico and Jason Bergmann how to win on a consistent basis.

If I were them, I would go after Glavine. He's a lock to the HOF, and has a ton of experience. And yes, He WOULD be a good mentor to their younger pitchers.
