Jimmy Rollins told Leslie Gudel of Comcast Sports Net that he is fine but he used the term "pop" for what happened on the slide back into second. Gudel witnessed him walking without a limp but says that the injury is being termed a "high ankle sprain." My guess is that he takes a game off and is fine and is back in there in a couple days.

Hopefully he isn't fine.

Phils could have used Jimmy in the lineup and at short tonight. They kept him on the bench in a sloppy game in more ways than one.

He's on the 15-day DL now.

This is the latest in a series of mishandled medical issues by the Philadelphia Phillies. We should have known when Jimmy used the word "pop" to describe what he heard when he hurt himself sliding back into second on a pickoff attempt on April 8th, that it was much worse than expected. So, instead of not using him at all since he couldn't start, they pinch hit with him four times since then , the latest being last night. Now he will miss a month, even if he could come back before that, because they can't backdate his time on the DL.

Brad Harman, a middle infielder, and T.J. Bohn have been called up to the Phillies to take the places of Rollins and Chris Snelling, who had already replaced Shane Victorino, on the active roster.

When will he be back? I'd like to see if he could repeat that (in my opinion) fluke MVP season this time around.

So far this information is only being put out by "sources." I'm not saying it is definitely not true, but it is definitely not confirmed yet.
