Jenkins might have been out, but he was called safe as he scored on a double by Pedro Feliz to cap off a 4 run rally and give the Phils a 4-3 victory over the Houston Astros. Shawn Chacon had shut down the Phils for eight innings, but in the bottom of the 9th, Valverde gave up a home run to Chris Snelling, hit Utley with a pitch, struck out Ryan Howard then gave up an opposite field rocket to Pat Burrell before striking Geoff Jenkins out. Jenkins, however, was safe at first on a passed ball and came home on Feliz' double. Adam Eaton threw 6 innings allowing 3 ER , walked 2 and struck out 3 and Rudy Seanez got the win for the home team with a scoreless 9th. Chad Durbin also threw two scoreless innings for the Phillies.
