HA NOI CITY TOUR (Full Day)
Warmly welcome to Ha Noi-the commercial, political, cultural heart witnessing the grandiose activities of the country. Throughout the thousand year history, marked by destruction, wars and natural calamities, Ha Noi still preserves the Old Quarter and over 600 pagodas and temples. We also find out the diversity of 54 ethnic groups in Viet Nam Ethnology Museum, which is both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Viet Nam.
7.30 8.30: Pick you up at your hotel. We start to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house - where Uncle Ho lived and worked from 1958 to 1969, then visit Ho Chi Minh Museum where tourists will learn about his devotion for Viet Nam. We continue our trip to Tran Quoc pagoda, Budhist relics and national heritage, lying on one side of West Lake.
12.00: Have lunch at a local restaurant.
13.00: We drive to Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, which is considered to be the first university in Viet Nam. It is an ancient architecture, built with fairly big scale that still exists until present time in Ha Noi capital. Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) had been built in October 1073 to worship Confucius, the founder of Confucianism and the Chu Van An - headmaster of Quoc Tu Giam (Imperial College) - representing for the high moral philosophy and ethics of Vietnamese education. We drive back to Hoan Kiem legend lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple which worship Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao former general commander. We also know about the Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake. See you off at your hotel.
