Word. Even if Burell hasn't lived up to the contract,Howard and Utley are arguebaly the teo best youngsters in the game. Far from it. In terms of hitting, they are. In everything else, they are nothing spectacular. Are Manny, Ortiz, and Drew good fielders? How about Delgado in the Mets 3-man punch?

You said they are the best young stars. I interpreted it as you thinking they are good at everything. When in truth, they are one-dimensional players. So they are not the best young stars in baseball.

The best young stars are Mauer and Morneau. The batting champion and the MVP. Both great defensively too.
