Buddy Bell basically said he'd be shocked if Gordon wasn't on the roster to start the season. As far as DH, Sweeney has the job hands down. Sanders is likely to be traded during ST, an injury is bound to happen somewhere during ST.

after looking at his career stats i think gordon could become an awesome power hitter for years to come rivaling that of (Howard) power. I think the Royals will take off soon, not this year though.
Hey deuxsticks is Butler making the trip to AAA this year? Or will they shove him back to AA?

Who is David Jesus?
Was it so hard to add the first 2 letters buddy?
in other news Robinson No will lose the starting job this year at 2B to Miguel Iro who has came into camp with some beefy biceps and the revitalation of a rookie looking to make an impact.

As far as Gordon...I doubt he'll ever have Howard type power, BUT, he does have tremendous bat speed and good raw power...and that could account for a couple 45 HR seasons. I think his best comparable is Lance Berkman at the plate. His defense at 3B is definitely good. I don't think he'll win any gold gloves at 3B, but he'll play above average defense consistently. And the DeJesus comment...BE NICE! lol. Twas an accident.

gordon had better numbers then howard down in the minors didnt he? but then again that doesnt mean anything, just look at J.R Phillips i think his name was, he had awesome power numbers at AAA and did nothing at the major league level.
Gordon reminds me of a young Troy Glaus when he was back in Anaheim, except gordon runs alot better, maybe Gordon would have Andruw Jones type of numbers?
