OK now onto NL. I got... Albert Pujols (STL) Jose Reyes (NYM) Miguel Cabrera (FLA) Ryan Howard (PHI) Chase Utley (PHI) Honorable Mentions- Carlos Beltran (NYM, if he steals more bases, not sure they'll let him though with proven run produces batting behind him, and no I don't care what they said about him running more, i'll believe it when I see it happen)
- Matt Holliday (COL, this guys a monster, could put up 40-45 dingers in COL)
- Alfonso Soriano (CHC, 40-40 again? I doubt it, he'll at least be in the conversation though.
- Rickie Weeks (MIL, probably an unpopular pick here, but this guy has power and steals bases from the 2B position. He'll breakout this year)
- Lance Berkman (HOU, gonna be hard for him with Howard and Pujols ahead of him on the 1B chart, but a 50 HR season might do it.)
Anyways, fire away.

Whoa no Garett Atkins in honorables? He's just as good as Holliday.
And not hating on the Mets, but I think Miggy will have a better season then Reyes, simply because his power numbers will be better.

I think it's too soon for Reyes to win it. He will be a big candidate in the future though.

I think there's a good chance he could win it this year. If he adds a few more HR's and steals bases at the pace he did last year...he could do it. Plus he has the advantage of playing in NY...and we know that that will help.

Not to be rude, but I kinda think thats bullcrap. If you have a great, MVP-worthy year your gonna get noticed no matter what team your on.

Howard got the attention b/c no one has come that close to 60 hrs since Bonds in 2002 I think.

I have a feeling Cabrera will get it this year. He's young, and in his contract year I believe. He'll work extra hard for the extra dollars.

Not to be rude, but I kinda think thats bullcrap. If you have a great, MVP-worthy year your gonna get noticed no matter what team your on. Not to be rude either, but what you said was 100% bullcrap. I know you guys from NY might not realize it, but there is extreme NY bias in sports. ESPN, during baseball season, is always talking about the Yankees or Mets. I'm not saying they don't deserve most of the attention because they're good. But mid-level teams like the Astros never get any time on the air, so no one talks about how damn good Lance Berkman is. Berkman may turn out to be the greatest Astro ever and he's rarely talked about. A great example of how much it isn't bullcrap is how the NY media tried to make a big deal out of Jeter and A-Rod. That was the worst story I have ever seen. Who in the hell cares if A-Rod and Jeter eat dinner with eachother every day? But that gives the Yankees more attention, so people want to see Jeter doing well instead of someone like Sizemore.

Why won't Soriano have another 40-40 year? he's still in the National League, i don't see why people dog on him just because he signed a huge contract, dude will still get 40-40 for the next 2 or 3 seasons
