Mike Hampton to DL

This one hurts...injuries are holding back the Braves from really being able to compete.

The Braves will place Mike Hampton on the 15-day disabled list with a strained pectoral and recall Jo-Jo Reyes prior to Friday's game.

Reyes' promotion should be short-lived, as the Braves are expected to activate Chuck James to start in Hampton's place next week. Jeff Bennett will return to the bullpen.

Hampton being on the DL once again ain't a big surprise for me. It's been almost what 3, 4 seasons? I think it's time for him to go, just an opinion/thought.

Chuck? Ha. Did you watch last nights game? He wasn't the Chuck we saw last year but it might be that it's the beginning of the season and he isn't as ready to go as he usually is. But I see great stuff in him, hopefully he'll get better and be a help to the team.
