I know your excited, but I hope your not expecting too much. There's a good chance he doesn't hit for any power over here. Best case? .300/.375/.475. But I don't think he hits for that much power.

bh, I think your expecting the wrong kind of thing, as are many Cubs. I got to see Fukudome play a few times last year, and he is no slug on the bases, he has some speed, but I don't think it's 'great' speed. His highest amount of steals in the Japanese leagues is 13 in a season. I don't see him coming over here and being a huge stolen base threat. I think he'd do better batting 3 or 5, because his power is legit.
We'll have to see how he goes, but don't expect too much on the SB side of the game .
