Time for 3rd base. Alex Rodriguez (NYY) Alex Gordon (KC) Ryan Zimmerman (WAS) David Wright (NYM) Aramis Ramirez (CHC) Respect to... - Garrett Atkins (COL)
- Brandon Wood (LAA)
- Evan Longoria (TB)
A-Rod...I expect him to age very well and continue to be one of the best players in the game. He should be a 40 HR threat well into his 30's. Gordon is the top prospect in baseball right now...and very well could be an A-Rod type player from the left side of the plate. Zimmerman is a fantastic defender...will win many gold gloves, while hitting 30 bombs a year. Wright is similar to Zimmerman...defense not quite there though, 30-35 HR threat yearly. Ramirez is another 35 HR threat, but will be on the downside of his career in 5 years. Garrett Atkins broke through last year, but I don't expect him to match his production last year for long. Still, in that environment, 25 dingers will be nice. Wood is a top SS prospect, but is being moved to 3B. He strikes out...A LOT. But he has A LOT of power too. He'll probably be a 30 HR threat in the big leagues...and a 150 K threat too. Longoria is a very nice prospect as well, plays fantastic defense, and will hit for a solid average in the big leagues. Not sure about his power, though. That is all, again.

Yep look like your predicting Cabrera will move to 1B. I think he has a better chance staying in 3rd base then moving to 1st. He dramatically improve in that position in the 2nd half of the season ever since he lost pounds.

how is arod a look to the future? If Aramis Ramirez is a look to the future, Alex Rodriguez certainly is.

I don't think either are. By 2011, they will likely be exiting their primes.

Brandon Wood will be a huge player in 2011 because he will be hitting in the middle of the Angels order!!! Also Alex Rodriguez is already 30 so he shouldn't be in a 'look to the future' post

His defense needs a bit improvement and he needs to hit HRs more consistently.

That'll never happen. The Yankees aren't going to trade him to an AL team. The only team that could afford to take A-Rod are the Red Sox.
