This is a pretty bad list. You have some guys who are proven MLB starters and then 2 minor leaguers who have nothing except hype.

I'm going to go with the best pitching prospect in baseball who complements the rest of the 5th ranked farm sytem by BA, Philip Hughes.

I'd pick him if he'd thrown 1 pitch in the majors. He hasn't so I'm going with Liriano.

I'm going to go with the 2nd best pitching prospect in baseball who complements the rest of the 5th ranked farm sytem by BA, Philip Hughes. If your going to say something, make sure you know what your saying...homer bailey is the top rated pitching prospect...as for me, i gotta say liriano if he can stay healthy...the guy's a beast

Hughes is better. Much more polished. Only concern is that injury he had...which wasn't terrible.
Anyways for me it's King Felix and it's not close. The guys just as young as anyone on that list...and has a big leagues season and more under his belt.

Liriano was an absolute beast when he was healthy. He had a 2.16 ERA and 12 wins and only 3 losses. He'd probably be in the top 5 for the Cy Young and definitely had the ROTY. A guy who puts up numbers like that is 1 in a million. He's young so he can definitely regain this form again.

Take out Hughes and Bailey, they haven't pitched at all in the MLB.
Put in Kazmir, Bonderman, and Zambrano.
If you include Zambrano, I'd say him.
I can't vote for Liriano. He's out for an entire season. So I'll go with Peavy. He's a young but experienced pitcher. Once he gets control of his emotions, he's going to be a great pitcher. Already an ace at 24.
Honorable mention would be Kazmir.

did i ever say the he did? Well you said Bailey was better after saying that Hughes never threw a pitch. I thought it was pretty obvious that you thought you couldn't call Hughes the best because he never threw a pitch, but then you completely contradicted yourself and said Bailey was the best.

He said Bailey was the top rated pitching prospect above Hughes. Not that he was the best out of this list.
