If he doesn't fatally injure himself, he's going to get it. He said that's going to keep playing until he gets the record.

Maybe someone will "accidentally" beam him by the jaw out of all places by "bad luck".

Too bad Nolan Ryan's retired. He'd do it.

To wish injury on someone else is so immature. Go to hell.

Bonds won't be very good because without the steroids, he is just an average hitter.....

I'm not going to pretend like I didn't see those responses coming, but you guys have to be kidding me. I don't really like the guy, and I see why people don't want him to break the record, but steroids don't make someone a good hitter. Steroids might give him a little bit more power, but it's not like it makes you into a super-athlete.
Bonds is one of the best players to ever play the game. He'd be in my top ten all-time team. You can't deny that he has gold gloves, a ton of stolen bases, and has always had a great OBP. Not to mention homeruns, which aren't as affected by steroids as most think.
I don't think people should keep grouping Bonds with McGwire. Mark was a great power hitter, but that's all he was. Bonds could hit, field, run, and had a good feel for the plate.
He will break the record, and he'll keep the homerun record for a long time.
I'd say he'll hit .280 35 HR's 100 RBI's
