Hitting a home run when it doesn't matter, classic A-Rod. A-Rod hit a game winning grand slam against the O's just the other day.....A-rod has 5 homers and 13 runs batted in, with a 360 batting average. Leading the MLB in both categories(HR's and RBI's). He is getting off to a good start, but I just hope he keeps it up. The main thing that A-Rod needs in order to be sucessful is to hit better in the clutch.....If he does that, then he will be among the top hitters in the league....

I know what he's doing but 1 clutch hit doesn't turn him into David Ortiz. He already is one of the best hitters in baseball today and in its history.

Dude, there hasn't even been 10 games. If he gets 1 walk off for every ten games, he'll have around 15 walk off homers. That's pretty good if you ask me. A-Rod doesn't have many chances to get walk offs because the Yankees are usually crushing teams.

It is good but it doesn't eliminate all the times he has been unable to get that timely hit. when are you guys gonna learn to ignore all the stupid sh.it that seaver41 says? How is the stuff I say stupid s.hit?

[...] He is getting off to a good start, but I just hope he keeps it up. [...] If he keeps this up, he will finish the season with 139 HR and 301 RBI!!

How is the stuff I say stupid s.hit? because what you said about a-rod tipically hitting the homer when it dosent matter a day after he hits a walk off grand-slam and when his homer pretty much put the game out of reach

It's an observation, it's not stupid at all.

What about last night's homerun? Was that pointless? I don't think so, considering those were the first two runs batted in of a Yankees win.

It was pointless since they scored 8 more runs after that.
