A-Rod is tearing it up right now.
Who cares if he chokes in the playoffs? He is a major part of getting the team to the playoffs. If the Yankees are going to pay so much for each player on their team, they shouldn't have to depend on one player to get a clutch hit.
A-Rod is the second best player in the game.
New Yorkers are the reason that he struggles. He's a sensitive guy. I know, I know. You pay for the tickets, you're allowed to boo. But if NY's so upset with A-Rod, do you think an obviously sensitive guy needs to have a stadium full of fans showing their hate towards him?

LMFAO...im not even gonna dignify that with an actual response You just did, dumbass. 1) i just said LMFAO, i didnt really respond 2) your pretty much saying that a-rod was able to predict the future and know that his team was gonna score 8 runs, so he said, hey, this is a non-clutch situation and there's no pressure on me, so i think i'll hit a home run now....your a @#%$IN IDIOT!!!

Yesterday in the top of the ninth inning, Alex Rodriguez stepped up to the plate with one out and the Yankees down by four runs. With two strikes on him, he lined a shot into the left-center gap for a ground rule double. Derek Jeter would have scored from first if it hadn't skipped over the fence. Seaver, was this a no-pressure hit?

You responded. 2) I'm not saying that. I am saying his home run in hindsight was meaningless because his team scored 8 more runs, none of which was was a part of. Nonetheless, that AB is NOT a clutch situation. A clutch AB is when it is the turning point of the game. On Mets' opening day, Lo Duca up with the bases loaded was a clutch AB because that determined the rest of the game. BTW, watch your language.

Give it up, all of you. He's a METS fan talking about a Yankee's player who has been talked about non-stop.
I know Derrick Lee is a good player, but you can't expect me to say that Pujols doesn't have a shot at the Gold Glove now that Lee is healthy. Especially not when Cubs fans are around. In a rivalry, you're supposed to hate the opposing team's player. Seaver is doing that. He's not making a great argument, but "clutch" is pretty much opinion anyway.
