If you had to pick a team of players all 25 and under, what would it be? Feel free to use a DH if you'd like.
Here is my team:
C Joe Mauer, MIN 1B Prince Fielder, MIL 2B Robinson Cano, NYY SS Jose Reyes, NYM 3B Miguel Cabrera, FLA LF Carl Crawford, TB CF Grady Sizemore, CLE RF Nick Markakis, BAL DH Delmon Young, TB
Bench: C Brian McCann, ATL IF Hanley Ramirez, FLA 1B Adrian Gonzalez, SD OF Rocco Baldelli, TB OF Jeff Francoeur, ATL
SP: Jake Peavy, SD Feliz Hernandez, SEA Carlos Zambrano, CHC Jered Weaver, LAA Scott Kazmir, TB
RP: CL Francisco Rodriguez, LAA Joel Zumaya, DET Huston Street, OAK Chad Cordero, WAS Jonathan Papelbon, BOS Chris Ray, BAL

Mine would be the same except I'd have Zimmerman instead of Cabrera at 3rd. Cabrera is one of the laziest defensive players.

How come no one say anything said anything on Ramirez defense, he was worse. Good thing both of them are turning around and have decent defense right now.

He doesn't go after fly balls and that missed one in the ASG was why the NL lost. He's a hell of a hitter, but he's one of the reasons why they made the DH rule. I'd keep Ramirez on that team because of his speed and hitting. Most young middle infielders are either great defensively or great offensively.

How can you bench one of the top five hitters in baseball just because you think he's lazy? Deal with it. Zimmerman is not even close to as good of a hitter as Miggy. It's not like Miguel is completely useless on defense, he just makes a few bad plays that everyone remembers.

But if I had the choice of a 3B who was a great hitter but a poor fielder or a 3B who is a good fielder and hitter, I'd always choose the latter. Zimmerman obviously isn't the kind of hitter Cabrera is, but he's not going to hit 200 and strike out 100+ times.

In hitting, slightly. fielding, no. One thing that is great about Wright is his work ethic. He hits 1000 balls in BP, he fields 1000 ground balls everyday in ST. Judging by Cabrera's performance at 3rd, it's obvious his isn't the same.
Anyway, I would move Cabrera to DH, make Wright or Zimmerman the 3B. Move Delmon Young to the bench and get rid of Jeff "Swing at everything" Francoeur.
