and the ball that went over Beltrans head had nothing to do with NL losing? god you new yorkers are f***ing hypocrites. im not defending seaver, im defending beltran...that wasnt beltran's fault, it was hit over his head...don't rip on beltran because he is a gold glove fielder and has the best range in center besides andruw jones that was a line drive that went passed him, not a fly ball, seaver is making crap up again

I said Cabrera doesn't go after fly balls in general. I know it was a line drive in ASG and he should have been able to stop it.

Who gives a sh*t about the All-Star game? That game is a joke.
Oh no, Miguel Cabrera missed ONE grounder... Oh no, Carlos Beltran missed ONE fly ball... They suck now, we can't have them on the team... That's the most immature sh*t I've ever seen...
The bottom line is that Cabrera is an amazing hitter and a decent fielder. Like Manny Ramirez. Zimmeran and Wright are solid, but they aren't anywhere near Cabrera offensively, but they are a little bit better defensively. They aren't THAT much better defensively where it would justify starting them over Cabrera.

He's still a below-average, lazy defensive player. You cannot deny that. As soon as he's out of Florida no question he'll go to the AL where a man with no position can still play everyday.

He may have below avg range but he doesn't make much errors since about a year now and does have a strong arm to throw to 1st base. You are talking to Marlins fans, we know our players!

That means nothing. Ted Williams is the greatest hitter ever and he never had one. I could list a bunch of great players who have never won a World Series. It means nothing. Using those kinds of arguments shows how desperate and weak your position is.
