Maybin and Miller was Detroit's top 2 prospects respectively... With De La Cruz and Trahern ALSO listed in Baseball America's Top 10 at Numbers 6 and 8...
Maybin was listed as having "Best Hit for Average, Best Hitting, Best Baserunning and Best Defensive OF" tools.
De La Cruz had Detroit's Best Fastball and Best Curveball.
Miller had Detroit's best Slider.
This trade means Detroit only has Jordan Tata left in the 2007 Top 10 as a pitcher.

Matt Treanor and Mike Redmond were also late-bloomers... and they arent too bad.
With Beinfest's record, I'd wait before any judgments...
