for all the good times, the championship run, we couldnt have done it without you guys, and the rough years when everyone else struggled, you carried this team, thanks for the memories, and good luck with the tigers, heres hoping you get a real shot a starting in a all star game guys.

Thank you Cabrera for your time here, we all know you had your good time (03 WS ring), and your bad time (when Loria refuse to give you the $2M extra contract and had to take it to court, and then publicly criticize you because he still had that grudge against you). But it is now time to move on and be free, you will quickly notice how a real MLB team is run when you find out that you don't have to pay for your own hotel room or plane ticket.
And Willis thanks for the WS memory in 03 and the Cy Young run in 04, but I think it was a huge mistake to accept such a low contract offer from the Marlins. I know you were a team player and wanted to help the Marlins franchise situation, but you should had ask for more, you never know if you ever get the same chance again to be able to ask for a huge contract offer.
