This kid has major talent, and I have a feeling he might be a big sleeper this season.
He went 3-3 with a 2.42 ERA in the second half of last season.
He's really developing, and he's going to get a chance to show it with the Royals.
Thoughts?

He's a stud...plus pitches across the board.
Still scares me occasionally because he is kinda weird...but I think he's finally over that for the most part.

I totally agree, I posted on my blog that I think he will win the CYA. I just have a feeling and probably suffering a little from homer-itis (don't worry, its not life threatening).

I remember the good old days when I use Grienke and his 58 mph curveball on MVP 2005. An amazing pitch when I need to throw something so unexpected in those clutch situation. I once got a 1 hitter using Grienke against the Mets in a exhibition game on MVP level.  |

I loved having him on my fantasy. Especially the one that only had 3 SP spots and 3 RP spots. Greinke was both SP and RP which helped when I had him and 3 other SPs going.

I had him in 3 of my 4 fantasy leagues.
There are rumblings Zack might get traded this winter, but it would be for a huge deal. I really hope not though, I think we need to build a staff around him.

Yankee fans are all over the internet with "Cano for ______ (insert awesome young player here -- Greinke, Matt Kemp, Chad Billingsley, etc...)" crap. The talk is if they can get MULTIPLE players back to fill needs, they'd do it. Olney was on the radio in KC and said they'd get three top prospects close to the big leagues if a trade were to go down. The only teams that even make sense to deal with would be Texas, maybe Atlanta, maybe Milwaukee. I don't really see a trade happening. |
