Wow...yeah, he was 1-10 with a 8.38 ERA last season on the road.
I've been thinking this whole time that Ervin Santana is going to have a breakout season.
With Lackey and Escobar out--the Angels really need him to step up like this.
It's also nice to see the Angels showing some power...especially Napoli.

Here we are a week later, and so far the Angels are holding their own, but not always looking good. Now, Francisco Rodriguez in on the DL with sore ankle - he should have never pitched in winter league if he had an ankle that was sore from last season.
We won one game in dramatic fashion against the Indians on Monday - Torii Hunter hit 2 homeruns (1 a walkoff Grand Slam) - right after they showed the Rally Monkey on the big screen. For anyone that didn't see the press conference after he was signed, he said that for the past 5 years he hated the monkey cause it always seemed that when they showed it, the Angels (who would of course be behind in the score at the time) would come back and win. NOW, the Rally Monkey is his new best friend and they're going to "hang out at the malls together", go to the beach. . . .
Right now, Angels are up 6-0, in their afternoon contest against the Indians. last night was definitely a heartbreaking loss, but it's only one, and it's still April. Mike Napoli hit a grand slam to put the Angels in front this afternoon.
