Good move by the Dodgers obviously....now if they can get a big bat, and hopefully re-sign Jeff Kent, they will be looking good

I think by getting Torre is a great move by the dodgers i see then making the playoffs.

I think by getting Torre is a great move by the dodgers i see then making the playoffs. Torre was a great "pick up" by the Dodgers. Dodgers should be in contention this season, and many more future seasons.

I find Torre with the Dodgers a weird fit...Torre has said that he prefers veterans over youngsters, and the Dodgers are for the most part a young team. Also, Torre tends to be hard on his players and forces them to produce...I don't think the Dodgers are ready for that. The Dodgers, for the most part, IMO-have been a very young and underrated team...Torre comes from the Yankees-an experienced overrated team.
This is definitely a big change for Torre and the Dodgers...it'll be interesting to see how they both handle it.
