Wow...first outing in the majors:
7 IP, 3 hits, 1 run, 0 walks, 4 K's.
And most impressive: Just 77 pitches thrown.
Granted, it was against the Padres AND it was at Petco--Kuroda has began his career in the majors with a BANG!
He could have easily thrown a CG...if he keeps on pitching this effectively and efficiently--he's going to be one heck of a pitcher.

Not bad for a number 4 starter. a huge upgrade from Brett tomko and Mark Hendrickson, yuck.
