As the blurb says--for a pitcher who's going to be involved in at most--5% of the club's innings--over 11 million per season for 4 years is way too much for a small market team. Nathan IS one of the best, if not the best closer in the league...but this is a surprise move considering the Twins don't exactly have the money to pay their closer such a large amount of money like the Yankees and Red Sox do.
IMO, this is a bad move for the Twins...he's just not worth it at that price.

Agreed...they lose Johan Santana then they spend all this money on a closer. Not smart...
