For 3 months with elbow surgery. Had a setback in his rehab.  There's soooooo many injuries in baseball right now...Cards #1 and #2 guys out right now... |

I remember when I watched the Mets and Cards 3rd game of the season, Keith Hernandez said in 1986, the Mets came into St. Louis in the summer. The Mets swept them in a 4-game series and the Cardinals never recovered and struggled the rest of the season. It looks like this has happened again but about 2 months earlier.

the cardinals are done...this sucks, there is no way this team can compete with the young minds of wainwright and reyes, and the little league pitching of kip wells...looper is our only bright spot but how long will he hold up? and now brad freakin' thompson is our 5th starter...oh man, this team is in for a long year
