Feb 27 Giambi is swinging the bat extremely well and hitting the ball to all fields, the New York Post reports. Last week, the positive news with Giambi was the great physical shape that he was in. This news regarding his positive batting session is another reason to believe that Giambi could become the Yankees everyday first baseman.

Lets not forget: In his last 7 full seasons, hes hit at least 32 HR's.

Well, he didn't play wednesday and thursday due to a stiff back...but he's definitely still got the power...I mean steroids.

The only question is how long he'll be able to stay healthy...if he's able to play 130+ games he'll hit 30+ HR's.
