Ryan Franklin. Yeah, I said it. He has been great as our set-up man. Allowed only one homerun, and to Barry Bonds. He has retired the first batter 17 out of 18 times that he's been put in the game. He's been great so far, and the Cardinals are thinking of putting him into the rotation with all of the injuries that has gone on. J.J. Hardy is the obvious choice.

He's gonna win NL Comeback Player of the Year. Rick Peterson should win the NL MVP for what he's done with the Mets' pitching staff.

Not really. He had one "hiccup" game against the Phillies where he walked 7 guys in 2.2 IP. The Giant game was bad but he was only charged with 2 runs because the defense was a disaster that night, so it wasn't really his fault. Other than those 2 games he has been very good. The worst of which he gave up only 4 runs in 7 innings. Last year at this time he was 1-5 with a 7.71 ERA.

J.J. Hardy has had the biggest breakout so far. Before this yr, I had never even heard of him. He is possibly the biggest reason why the Milwaukee Brewers are in 1st place, after many yrs of poor baseball.
