Combination of the three gives you power, speed and clutch hitting. The latter two can play center. PMac should be the left fielder, not Gerut. What's the fascination with Gerut? By reputation, he has a decent glove and some mobility. But why does anyone think the Padres can afford to go with less offense? The LF can be an avgerage fielder at best - the CF needs to track down those Petco flies... just give us a bat in LF, please! Giles has RF locked down... at least budgetwise... until we can send him out to pasture. |
