Tough call.
He's 6-4 with a 2.23 ERA in his career against the Astros. Last season he went 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA against them.
However, he was absolutely TERRIBLE this Spring Training.
I think he'll have a "good" outing...the Astros have a pretty good lineup with Berkman, Lee and Tejada--but Petco Park is the #1 pitchers park in the league.
I'm expecting a line somewhere along the lines of 7IP, 3ER, 7 K's.

I can go with that prediction... it's typically tough for pitchers starting out the season... they're usually behind the hitters in readiness for the season... case in point: Erik Bedard for the Ms... I'm watching him now and he's thrown a lot of pitches and is missing a lot (but JUST missing)... hasn't been roughed up for many runs yet...

Well, I was wrong...Peavy absolutely dominated...7 IP, 0 runs...even 2 RBI's at the plate.
