Kinsler adds another RBI; Gagne pitches scoreless inning

Rangers at the plate: Sammy Sosa hit his fourth home run of the spring, a grand slam in the first inning, and later added an RBI single. Ian Kinsler, who entered the game leading the American League with 15 RBIs, drove home another run with a double in the second inning.
Brewers at the plate: Damian Miller, who was 0-for-4 for the spring while being sidelined with a calf strain, went 2-for-3 with a home run and a two-run double. Johnny Estrada and Rickie Weeks also hit home runs.
Rangers on the mound: Bruce Chen, struggling to stay in the fifth starter competition, pitched 3 2/3 innings and gave up five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three. Eric Gagne started and pitched a scoreless inning.
Brewers on the mound: Zach Jackson, trying to win a spot in the bullpen, replaced Ben Sheets as the starter and allowed five runs in two innings, including Sosa's grand slam. Greg Aquino followed him with two scoreless innings.
Cactus League records: Rangers 13-7; Brewers 9-14.
Up next: The Rangers host the Oakland Athletics on Saturday with Brandon McCarthy pitching for them against Esteban Loaiza. The Brewers are back home at Maryvale Baseball Park to play the San Diego Padres with Chris Capuano pitching against Jake Peavy.
