Boras is his agent. He said that Scherzer was the 2nd best pitcher in last years draft behind Luke Hochevar. Which is obviously wrong, Tim Lincecum, Andrew Miller, and Greg Reynolds were all better. Of course Boras was just trying to hype his client.
