Oh...didn't know that. Too fat to look it up myself.
Anyways - Leyland still won't pick Buck. He'll pick a more well known player like Mauer or Posada. He probably doesn't even know how well Buck is playing.

Doublestix: Has Buck been on the DL for any amount of time this season? It seems like Buck doesn't have many AB's for someone who is performing very well right now, especially since the Royals have an anemic htting back-up catcher.

No, we have a stupid manager who only plays Buck 60% of the games. Yes that's right, he assigned Buck to 3 out of 5 starters, and LaRue to 2 out of the 5 starters. In fact it is LaRue that has hit the DL, not Buck. He SHOULD be catcher at least 4 out of 5 games. But when you have Buddy Bell at the helm, you have to be "fair" to the veterans and give them playing time.

Its very simple mets fans, the better player at each position goes, its not just your team, thats why the NL has been failing every year. Last year the NL lost because of a fat 3B who couldn't field. Or because of beltran missing a fly ball thats no way to talk about david wright how little they forget. I even gave respect to you yet you fill this board with bull****

Hoffman didn't even appear in a game against the Mets after the ASG.

Phil Garner lost the All-Star game for the NL. He had a multi-Gold Glove winner (Rolen) just sitting on the bench in the ninth inning and he left Cabrera in there to play third base.
