How Pete Rose is banned from baseball from betting on games when he was the Red's manger, but Barry Bonds isn't when he has used steroids. How is that fair?

(their reasoning, i dont feel this way) b/c rose supposedly bet on his team, so he could hav thrown games and also alot of people use steriods, so their not gonna ban them all, plus bonds hasnt been convicted

But I thought he bet with on the reds to win, which was his job. And it it pretty obvious that Bond's head has grown since he was a pirate. There are 2 causes of that: 1. A disease that I forgot to, can look up, that Bonds doesn't have 2. Using steroids

This is the most ridiculous thread I've seen for a while. Barry Bonds is a great hitter, one of the best ever, and there is speculation that he has used steroids. It isn't proven, it won't be proven, and if they ban Barry, they'll have to ban an entire era. Rose was caught cheating, and it wasn't a common thing.

Because in the beginning of his career, he was a quick, Gold Glove winning outfielder. But then his knees started to give him trouble. So instead of working on being a quick guy, he pumped some major iron to become a power hitter. When you gain muscles, I'm sure your whole body gets bigger. How stupid would it look for him to have a huge muscles, then a tiny head. He just gained a lot of weight. Look at how different Miguel Cabrera looks from when he first started out.

Your head doesn't get bigger from working out.

It gets bigger from gaining weight, and getting older. When you work out, you gain a lot of weight..

That's just what it said in a book written by a former SI writer, Jeff Pearlmen I think it is. I have no idea if it's right or wrong. But his head did look to grow more than his body size. I'll post the entire thought when I get the book
