For those of you who watch Baseball Tonight, who do you consider to be the biggest idiot?
I have to say John Kruk is up there. Yesterday, they had a heated debate over who should start for the NL in the ASG: Reyes or Rollins. Kruk said Rollins. His reason? He wants to see home runs, not "bunt to first and steal 2nd".
The host on some nights, Steve Berthuiame always says something like "Here's (player), former (player's previous team) great". He says this a lot. Whenever Kaz Matsui is in a highlight, he says "Former Met Great". The only 2 players you can call former Met greats are Piazza and Seaver. He said "Josh Bard, former Red Sox great" once before. Bard played with the Red Sox from Spring Training to late May; roughly 4 months. If he's serious, it's stupid. If he's sarcastic, it's rude and unprofessional.

They all are idiots. They probably all think BA, HR, and RBI are the best ways to measure a hitter's value.

John Kruk and Dusty Baker are the idiots.
Fernando Vina and Buster Olney are the best...

Buster Olney is an idiot. He makes up trade rumors all the time. He also thinks the Braves would win the division and the Phillies the Wild Card.

the biggest idiot is Steve Phillips. Didn't he acquire Victor Zambrano for Scott Kazmir when he was the mets GM?

That was Jim Duquette. Steve Phillips made up excuses not to sign A-Rod (he said A-Rod wanted his own store near Shea Stadium) and Vlad Guerrero (Vlad really wanted to come to NY and since Steinbrenner wanted Sheffield over him, the Mets were his only option).

Anyone not named Gammons, Stark, or Olney sucks. Oh yeah, and I love Karl Ravich. He always picks the Cardinals for everything.

Gammons isn't bad. Stark is crazy. He thinks Koufax is overrated and Jeter is underrated.
