The Phillies' offense sprang to life with four home runs among sixteen hits, four of which were off the bat of Chris Coste and they got a well pitched game from Brett Myers in a 10-2 series clinching win today at CBP. The other home runs came from Chase Utley-number 4, Pat Burrell-number 6 and Ryan Howard-his 4th as well. It was Coste's 2nd HR of the year. Phils even their record at 8-8 on the season, 3 games better than last year's record after 16, which was 5-11. This was the second consecutive series win at home for the Phillies, who will try to make it three against their regional rivals, the NY Mets. Jimmy Rollins is in CA attending a family funeral, so he will miss the highly publicized expected pitchers' duel tomorrow night between the Mets' Johan Santana and Cole Hamels in the series opener in Philly.
