The Phils put Jimmy Rollins on the 15 day DL today and are hoping to come away with a 1-2 series against the New Yorkers this weekend. Tonight's game will be on ESPN, so once more, if you don't want your ears to bleed or your IQ to diminish, and you live in the Phillies' radio network coverage area, you will have to put up with some kind of mis-synched action and sound.

Are the Mets in a 4 games winning streak against the Phillies now?

Chase Utley with two home runs and Adam Eaton pitching a strong game until the 6th. He has allowed a triple, single and a double so far in the 6th. 4-1 game right now.

Well, Beltran made it around to score and it's all tied up now. Durbin has gotten a couple of outs, but there are men at 1st and 2nd and Marlon Anderson is hitting for Pelfrey.

J.C. Romero takes over in the 7th for the Phils.

Romero allows a walk and a SB to David Wright, but gets out of further trouble by striking out Beltran to end the inning. Still tied at 4.

Joe Smith replaces Feliciano with 2 on and 2 out. Coste will stand in and Taguchi is running for Burrell. I disagree with this move in the 7th of a close game against the Mets. They will likely miss Burrell's bat later on in this game.

Smith fans Coste. Phillies lead it 5-4 after 7.

Phillies win thanks to the tiny dimensions and massive foul territory of Shitizen's Bank Park.

the wind also contributed, pushing that ball back into play

The 2nd Utley HR is a foul ball in any other stadium. I hate a lot of foul territory on the side of the bases.

How does a lot of foul territory help a ball that hits the foul pole? That ball hits every other foul pole in the league, so that is a bogus claim. The ball cut through the wind if anything. Dobbs hit a ball right before Utley's first HR which was pushed back into play by the wind. It is out of there any other day. Oh and tiny dimension and massive foul territory is totally bogus. The dimensions are practically identical to Veterans stadium. There may be an issue related to the wind or structural features which helps balls in flight, but it is not the dimensions of the field. Dodger Stadium - now there's massive foul territory. Shea's is even bigger than CBP's.
