Phils and Giants trade runs early then the Giants send 8 men to the plate in the 4th, scoring three. Hamels walked the pitcher in that inning. After 4 it's 4-1 SF.

Bench comes through for the Phils in the 8th. Taguchi scored on a grounder to first on which the firstbaseman came home too late, and Dobbs drove in the 6th run. Phils still batting with 1 out and runners at 1st and second and Rollins up.

Gordon gets out of trouble in the 8th without good command of his fastball. He walked two in the inning and threw more than half of his pitches for balls, but Rich Aurilia popped out to second to end the threat. The other two outs were deep flies to CF and LF. Still 7-4 going into the 9th.

Yes I do. I can't stand this one.
Lidge was filthy again. If I counted correctly, he threw 14 pitches, 11 of them for strikes and struck out the side to save the ballgame for Hamels, 7-4.
