What a moron
He called out the fans for not being supportive and impatient, now he says they were in hiding before 2005. He's blaming SNY for not showing him rallying the players in the dugout. He played the race card when a writer asked him why he gets criticized for his calm demeanor while Torre was complimented for his.
It's time to give this idiot the boot. After a 2 game sweep over the Yankees, he distracts the team with this rant. He won't last much longer.

Mets have been outscored 23-7 past 3 games. 0-3 since his outburst.

Met fans seem to treat those games so importantly...and yeah the race thing is bs... people are jumping just like they did to Torre, because the teams not winning. I don't view him as a black manager, I just view him as a manager.

The Yankees, at that time, were better than their record. Also they faced Wang who was good up until then.

For a day. If they lose 3 of 4 to the Dodgers, it's back to where they started.

He's gone, a lot of Mets fans are complaining about the timing of his firing, because they fired their manager after they started winning. Here a rumor spreading around about what happen last night:

Met fans are justified in being unhappy with the timing and way this was dealt with because the organization is a laughing stock.
I think what happened was Fred and Jeff Wilpon told Omar to stop dragging this out and fire him already or else he'd be fired with Willie.

Yep, the town across the city is literally in ruins. I wonder if the Mets are even going to make to the first round of the play offs.
I watched the interviews, on ESPN, SNY, And YES. when they interviewed David Wright, you couldn't see his eyes because his cap was cover his eyes. And it sounded like he was crying!
BYE BYE WILLIE... One New York Manger goes one year, the other goes the next. But what was messed up was the Mets were on the road. But they could of waited till the end of the season to send him on his way.
