Amazing and look like Littleton got an unexpected save there. Damn the Baltimore bullpen has to be destroy with all the pitches they had to throw in that game.

I belive the last time was 1894, quite incredible. And oddly enough they didn't get many homers through out the game. they were more of a base hit team that game, as they usually are.

Still it is best to never use your position players until you ran out of reliever. Position players arn't train to throw hard consistantly, or they could pull a Consesco (SP).

They should have used a position player to pitch. The Cardinals have done it twice now. Both Spiezio and Miles pitched perfect innings.
