The Phils send 8 to the plate in the 5th and score 5 runs on just two hits - HRs by Utley and Jenkins and they lead it 6-1 through 6. Meanwhile Adam Eaton is pitching a good game through 6 allowing 1 run on 4 hits while walking 1 and striking out 4.

Now through 6. Phils still up 6-1. In other action, the Fish have used the long ball to score 5, the latest being a 3-run blast by Cody Ross, his second HR of the game, and they lead the Mets 5-4 top 7th.

Romero gets out of the 8th with no damage. Still 6-1 Phils, mid 8. Mets can't do anything off the Fish's bullpen, they still trail 5-4 through 8.

Phils don't score in the 8th. Rockies have a runner at 1st and 1 out in the 9th, Chad Durbin is on the hill for the Phils.
At Shea, Endy Freakin' Chavez has led off the 9th with a Home run off Gregg. Mets and Fish tied at 5.

Durbin allows another runner and they make it to 2nd and 3rd but gets Quintanilla to line out to left to end the ballgame. Phils win 6-1.

Mets and Marlins going extra innings at Shea. Wright lined out to end the inning. 5-5 through 9.
